Ballerinas on the mind since this post on frolic blog. Fortunately, since I'm not a dancer, Bloch Shoes creates lovely, comfortable and stylish everday wear shoes... for us non-dancer types.

I've been tinkering around with the blog these last couple days and I'm adding a new outift gallery in my flickr folder and on this blog on the left. There's one lonely outfit right now, but I hope to get more soon. Matt and I went out to lunch today and I wore the above. I usually don't dress up on workdays since I'm at home, but if we go out to lunch, I jump at the opportunity. So, the outfits will be a bit sporadic, but I'll try to get them up as often as possible. Enjoy!

It's a modest little space...
I guess I never really blogged my studio in its entirety, huh? It's about time. :) I am constantly reorganizing, rearranging, and de-cluttering it. It's a perpetual work in progress. Since it isn't huge, I really have to maximize the space. See more in my Flickr folder.

I found this old sewing table at an antique shop last weekend... actually... I found it in October and thought about it for a couple months. Good thing I waited because it was over 50% off. Yay! Matt asked several times if I wanted him to repaint it. I said "no". I like the beat up look... someone or several people loved it over the years and after a few coats of paint, I like the way it looks now. :)

It came with an old sewing machine that still works!

What treasures will we find in here?

The original instructions. Someone, somewhere is reading this post thinking... who would buy my old, worn table?
Update: I guess I should say how much I nabbed it for! So I really know nothing about antiques, but it was originally $150 in October and I got it on sale for $65. I don't know if this is a great deal, but since October, I daydreamed about it and thought about how to talk it down to $100... so hey, it's less than what I was willing to pay for it! ;)
