I cannot tell you how quickly the past 2 years have gone by!

To my husband: I love you with all my heart and cannot tell you in words how happy I am to have you in my life. I look forward to the adventures we will have and cherish the memories of the adventures we've had. Together with you, we've built a relationship, a life, a family and a home. I hope that in the years to come, I can bring the same amount of joy into your life as you have in mine. I love the simple things:
I love how you always want me to pick our meals because of my silly cravings...
I love how you let me lay my head on your lap and curl up to watch movies even though I'm sure your legs fall asleep...
I love how you let me get ready for bed first since I take 3 times as long as you...
I love how you listen to my coos at every single cute thing on this planet...
I love how you point out squirrels everywhere since you know I love them...
I love how you let me have the corner brownies...
I love how you love me.

The wedding was held in Salem, Oregon (yes, that is where I live!) and photographed by a favorite photographer of mine, Jessica Hill. Oregon State Fair 2009

Fun!
Matt, my sis, her husband, and I all went to the Oregon State Fair Saturday evening and it was a blast. I loved the animals - way too cute. My sister and I rode that crazy "Big Sling" ride you see at the amusement parks and fairs similar to this:

I wish I had taken pictures but I didn't want to bring my camera because it was threatening rain all evening/night.
Oh... and don't forget the Mt. Angel Oktoberfest on September 17th-20th. Matt and I plan to eat a ton like last year. Hope to see you there!

Sorry for the light posting again this week. Last minute, I got a few big projects/shoots to work on with nearly impossible turnaround times... but I love a challenge. Although, my hands are really tired and my fingers are multi-colored from dyes and paints, I am really, really excited about some new pieces I've finished and some new ones I'll be scrambling to finish today. Etsy Contest :: A Handmade Moment :: Help us spread the word!

Matt & I have submitted a quirky little video to the Etsy "A Handmade Moment" Contest. Please view it! We put a lot of love and laughter into this piece for all to enjoy! The contest ends August 31st in terms of submissions. The top 25 videos based on number of views will move onto judging by a selected panel (so the beginning round is a bit of a popularity thing, so help us out by spreading the word!). The theme is "A Handmade Moment". Let me know what you think. I'm sorry if it isn't Oscar-worthy. I just learned the software yesterday! The lovely music is being provided by Mood Area 52 (used with permission) who were wonderful at our wedding (thank you!!!).
